• Ensuring transparency in the peer-review and editorial process.
  • Adopting clear procedures regarding ethical issues, conflict of interests, and compliance with policies of institution that the journal is affiliated.
  • Investigating all complains and/or questions related with submissions to the journal, accepted or not, and providing to authors an opportunity for response whenever necessary.
  • Treating all individuals with respect, impartially, and without discrimination on the basis of gender identity, race, sexual orientation, religion or political beliefs, and geographic region.
  • Maintaining impartially and clarity in publication of sponsored supplements and/or with any other type of sponsoring/funding. Ensuring that articles are reviewed and accepted only based on scientific merit and not based on any commercial influence.
  • Ensuring open access and describing in all articles the modality of Creative Commons license that the journal has adopted.
  • Ensuring organization of all documents related to journal submission process.
