• Attesting the originality of the study submitted and establishing that the article is not under consideration elsewhere and/or was accepted for publication in another journal.
  • Ensuring that studies including human or animals comply with national and international requirements and guidelines (Declaration of Helsinki [2013]), Declaration of Human and Animal Rights (UNESCO, 1978).
  • Ensuring approval by Ethical and Research Committee of the institution in which study was performed as well as by “Plataforma Brasil” (Brazilian database to register research involving human subjects).
  • Disclosing potential conflicts of interests in a statement written and signed by all authors.
  • Informing journal’s editor when an important error is found in the study and providing all information need for publication correction, errata, and retraction.
  • Providing records of data associated with the study if requested by the editor.
  • Ensuring copyright transfer to the journal.
  • Maintaining author registry with Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier (ORCID) at https://orcid.org/signin.
