ABSTRACT Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation that uses extracorporeal membrane oxygenation with conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation and has emerged as a promising intervention for patients with refractory cardiac arrest.
