Graduated in Medicine, and then completed medical residency in Thoracic Surgery and PhD in Science at Universidade de São Paulo; later earned a Master’s degree at Harvard University. He started his position of Assistant Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Universidade de São Paulo since 2013 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. Since 2022, Prof. Terra is Coordinator of Center of Excellence in Thorax at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. His research focus on robotic surgery, digitalization of surgery and thoracic oncology; he is one of the pioneers of robotic thoracic surgery in Latin America and one of the founders of the Brazilian Registry of Lung Cancer.
Ricardo Mingarini Terra
