Is full professor of the Surgical Department of School of Medicine at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. He holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Surgery, and a Master’s degree and a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology. His is full-professor in Surgery and Experimental Surgery at Escola Paulista de Medicina, full-professor in Surgical Gastroenterology at the Universidade de São Paulo. His areas of interest include General Surgery, Oncological Surgery, Digestive System Surgery, and Medical Deontology.
