Einstein (São Paulo) invites submissions for a special issue dedicated to Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT). This issue aims to highlight and critically reflect on the most significant scientific and clinical developments in HCT over the past decade.

In the last decade, the field has undergone a remarkable transformation, driven by innovations in conditioning regimens, graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis, cellular therapies, donor availability, and supportive care strategies. These advances have redefined patient eligibility, improved outcomes, and expanded the boundaries of what is possible in transplantation.

We welcome contributions from clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams engaged in transplantation medicine, immunology, hematology, infectious diseases, nursing, and allied fields. Both experimental and clinical work is encouraged, as are critical reviews and perspectives that synthesize and contextualize recent progress.

• Advances in GVHD prophylaxis and treatment, including post-transplant cyclophosphamide, biologics, and cell-based therapies

• Long-term survivorship, late effects, and quality of life
• Novel cellular and gene therapies integrated with transplantation
• Outcomes research, real-world evidence, and disparities in access to HCT
• Pediatric versus adult transplant considerations
• Ethical challenges and emerging clinical dilemmas in transplantation
• The impact of precision medicine, biomarkers, and artificial intelligence on HCT decision-making

Communications that critically explore the state of the art in HSCT. Manuscripts must adhere to the einstein (São Paulo) Instructions for Authors and will undergo peer review.
