Sérgio Marcos

Graduated in Medicine from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Subsequently, they pursued the academic and obtained both Master’s and PhD degrees in Human Pathology from the esteemed Universidade Federal da Bahia. To further enhance their expertise, completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cornell University Medical School in New York City, USA. During their time at Cornell, they focused on research related to the pathogenesis of Human Tuberculosis and Leishmaniasis, two significant infectious diseases with global impact. Their work in understanding the underlying mechanisms of these diseases has contributed to the advancement of medical knowledge in this field. Has made significant contributions to the scientific community, with their research findings being published in reputable journals.
