Maria Carolina Santos

Graduated in Nutrition from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Master’s degree in Nutrition Science from Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Ph.D. in Sciences and Postdoctoral degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. She has completed her training in Principles and Practice in Clinical Research from Harvard T.H. CHAN School of Public Health. Currently, she is a researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Oncology, member of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and an associate researcher at the Cancer Theranostics Innovation Center. She is a member of the Cancer Metabolism and Cachexia Research Group. Her research interests include clinical nutrition, metabolism, nutritional status and body composition in cancer, and intestinal microbiota and nutritional disorders.
